Wedding and Commitment Canvases
This bride wanted something different for her wedding guests to sign rather than the usual wedding registry book. Her groom is a fan of the artist, Lora Zombie, and she wanted their likenesses to be in a similar style. Although Lora Zombie creates her artworks in watercolor, the bride wanted her canvas to be completed in acrylic so that the wedding guests could sign right onto the canvas without ruining the finished piece. There is no book to gather dust in a forgotten drawer or box in a closet; instead, the 30" x 40" canvas is displayed proudly in their home where they are reminded daily of the people who attended their nuptial ceremony.

Sizes can range from 16" x 20" up to 48" x 60" depending on the size of artwork requested as well as the number of guests who will be signing on the canvas.

The Wedding "canvas" shown to the left was created in coffee on watercolor paper. Guests' signatures were added using a brown archival pen in the area provided on the artwork, and a white archival pen was used on the brown mat framing the wedding couple's portrait.
